Fumi Minnie Nakamura was born in Shimizu-Shizuoka, Japan in December 1984. She moved to the United States at the age of 11 with her mother and brother for family reasons. She’s been living in Bay Area, California for almost 10 years. She attended: California College of Arts and Crafts, San Francisco Art Insititute, and San Jose State University for various studies and to practice her skills.
